Double Knockout Format
Friday Aug. 17
6:15 p.m. - Game 1 > Etobicoke Titans vs North York Blues
8:30 p.m. - Game 2 > Scarborough Stingers vs East York Bulldogs
Saturday Aug. 18
10:00 a.m. - Game 3 > Loser game 1 vs Loser game 2 (losing team is eliminated)
12:15 p.m. - Game 4 > Winner game 1 vs Winner game 2 (winner advances to championship)
2:30 p.m. - Game 5 > Winner game 3 vs Loser game 4 (losing team is eliminated)
Championship Sunday Aug 19
9:30 a.m. - Game 6 > Winner game 4 vs Winner game 5 (if Winner of game 4 wins > champions! )
if Winner of game 5 wins > must play one more game....
12:30 p.m. - Game 7 (if necessary) Championship final
Rules:
GAME LENGTH - game numbers 1 to 4, no new inning after 1 hour 45 minutes from time of first pitch. Games 5, 6 and 7 (semi final and finals), 7 inning games. Mercy rule is still in effect.
NO TIES - games played until a winner is determined
MERCY RULE - 10 runs after 5 innings
OBA PITCHING RULES APPLY - after 4 innings, cannot pitch the next day. 7 innings maximum in one day and 14 innings maximum for the tournament.
EXTRA PLAYER RULE - 9 player batting order or 10 using extra player as outlined by Baseball Ontario Extra Player Rule
HOME TEAM - to be determined by coin flip for every game
