2) MERCY RULE 10 RUNS AFTER 5 INNINGS.

3) TOP 2 TEAMS IN EACH POOL ADVANCE.

     A) IN CASE OF TIE IN SAME POOL         (1) head to head

     IN CASE OF 3 WAY TIE-AFTER FIRST  TEAM SELECTED BASED ON 3A SELECTION PROCESS REVERTS TO

     BEGINNING

4) TOP 6 TEAMS ADVANCE TO CHAMPIONSHIP BRACKET-SEEDING IS BASED ON FORMAT BELOW

5) TOP 2 TEAMS RECEIVE BYE.  NEXT 4 TEAMS PLAY OFF AS  PER SCHEDULE

6) BOTTOM 4 TEAMS PLAY ADDITIONAL GAME ON SUNDAY MORNING

7) NO NEW INNING CAN START AFTER 2 HOURS

8) HOME TEAM DETERMINED BY COIN TOSS WITH EXCEPTION OF SEEDED GAMES WHERE HIGHER

    SEEDED TEAM HAS CHOICE

IN ADDITION THERE WILL BE PRIZES FOR THE EVENTS IN SKILLS COMPETITION.

 

In determining the Seedings for the Playoff Round, the following tie-breaking formulas will be used:

 

Top 3 (Seed # 1, # 2, # 3)—Top Team in each Division:

i)                    Number of Points earned

i)                    Team with the smallest runs against ratio (Runs allowed divided by the number of defensive innings played). 

ii)                  Team with the highest runs for ratio (Runs scored divided by the number of offensive innings played).

iii)                Coin Toss.

 

Next 3 (Seed # 4, # 5, # 6)—2nd place in each Division

 

i)                    Number of Points earned

Note:   In the event of a forfeit during the Round Robin, a score of “7-0” will be recorded with

1 run being awarded per inning to the winning team (e.g. 4 runs after 4 innings
