4-MAN BASE RUNNING COMPETITION

Each team will compete with 4 players. Time starts when 1^st player touches home plate (may take a running start) and ends when 4^th (last) player touches home plate. Each player must touch each base and home plate upon completion of his/her turn. Next player may start only after player prior has touched and passed home plate (leaving prior to player before you will disqualify your team). Any player failing to touch a base or home plate (at finish) will receive a 1 second penalty per infraction. Team with the lowest time wins competition. Winning team will each receive an award!!

HOME RUN COMPETITION

1 player from each team will compete. Each player will supply his or her own BP pitcher. BP pitcher will not be allowed any warm-up pitches. Each BP pitcher will throw from behind L-Screen. L-Screen may only be moved by competition organizers for left or right-handed pitchers, distance from home plate must remain the same for the entire competition.

Each batter will receive 10 swings. 1 point will be awarded for any ball hitting the warning track (on the fly) in fair territory. 2 points will be awarded for any ball hitting the outfield fence (on the fly) in fair territory. 5 points will be awarded for any ball hit over the outfield fence (on the fly) in fair territory, including balls hitting the top of the fence and going over. Player with the highest amount of points wins competition. Winning player will receive an award!!
